Dr. Katherine Montejano is a Southern California native. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University with her bachelor’s degree in 2013. After several years working in marketing and finance, she chose to pursue veterinary medicine, combining her passions for science and animal care. She returned to her alma mater to complete her veterinary prerequisites, then went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in 2025.
She is passionate about making veterinary medicine accessible and collaborative for families. With a strong interest in urgent care and client education, she believes that empowering pet owners is essential to keeping pets healthy and thriving. She values building lasting relationships and working together with families to support the well being of every pet.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Montejano enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and adventuring with her loved ones.
