super thankful I came across this hospital. Dr. Bird was amazing along with the staff. prices were very reasonable and service was excellent. My dog was in extreme pain, they came to our vehicle within minutes and assisted my boy. Unfortunately we had to euthanize our pet, process was smooth and staff was very empathetic and understanding. thank you all I will def recommend my fam and friends. HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Very clean. Brought my son's tortoise for cremation. Receptionist, Caila, was very pleasant and consoling. Quick but not rushing you out. Thank you. Also, the best price in the big part of San Gabriel Valley.

Dr. Weigand has been my vet for 30 years. Has cared for eight of my dogs over that time. He has always been caring and kind. Treated me and my dogs exceptionally. I highly recommend him and his wonderful staff and vets.

I’m conflicted on the rating I should give. Dr. Weigand and Dr. May have been wonderful to my dogs. Majority of the front desk staff has been wonderful and personable especially Caila, Cindy and the male that I can’t remember his name. I’ve been bringing my one for almost 2 years until now. The vet techs are mostly amazing except one (Laura). But I put that aside. I brought my one in last week for kennel cough and he was seen by Dr. Weigand. I told him my other dog was having some coughs but not as bad and asked specifically if she gets worse so I need to make another appointment or just call. He said I could just call and he would write a prescription for her but let’s see if she gets over it without it. By the end of the week she was worse and my male still coughing despite finishing the antibiotics. So I called and was informed Dr. Weigand was out until Monday and that they would pass the message to one of the other vets. By 4 pm I hadn’t heard anything and I called back. I was then told they would do cough tabs for my male but they would not write anything for my other without seeing. I was not rude or nasty but asked to double check since I was told differently by him. I’m sure it’s annoying to have a client ask you to check again but is it really difficult? Does it really ruin your day so much? Well, it did nothing. Answer was I can call back at 8 am to try to get an urgent appt. Fine because I’m not going to make my dog wait when she’s clearly sounding worse. I did request a message be put in for Dr. Weigand to call me when he was in. I was able to get an appt Saturday for an urgent appt with Dr. Sosa that refused to write an antibiotic and the most lovely vet tech 🥴 I asked for a weight check also as I needed to get the simparica for my girl. It was “I’m not doing that. Kennel cough is contagious and we don’t weigh them when they are here for that.” My response “ okay, I didn’t know that since they weighed my other when he came in for it 6 days earlier. But that’s fine” then she proceeded to ask me if Dr. Weigand stated my other had kennel cough with her ever so lovely attitude as usual. I said I don’t know? He gave us an antibiotic for it? Is it not in your system? Does it matter now what he specifically said when it didn’t matter when I called previously? She then left just to come back and say the vet wanted the weight checked 😂 this particular tech has previously been judgy, wrong and just rude but I let it roll. Because the rest of the staff has been good. Not anymore. I called back today to try to get back in for my other dog who was originally treated because his cough is not better after his cough tabs and antibiotics and I’m told right away without even asking for a specific Dr. that Weigand is out tomorrow and she doesn’t have any appointments until late next week. So I have to call again the next day for an urgent visit. $100 for an urgent visit. I’m not sure but it feels a lot like gate keeping or just plain unprofessional all around when I wasn’t rude or mean just annoying I’m guessing. My husband called tonight and requested medical records which were sent for both and he requested the simpatico prescription and my ones food prescription so we can get it from petsmart and was told if he could send it by email he would and if not he would call back. We’re still waiting for one or the other. **update - we just got a call saying they can write the paper rx for the food and filled the simparica for our growing girl. I requested paper and it was just sent via email.

Overall takeaway- go here if you can get in with Dr. Weigand or Dr. May and not have Laura as your vet tech. 🤷🏼‍♀️ if not just pick a different vet office altogether.

Very overpriced for rushed and inattentive  “care”. The vet kept pushing surgery for a health problem that didn’t need it. They also didn’t seem too concerned or committed to truly meeting our dogs needs. The vet pushed us to spend money on meds and surgery we were told would stop the issue. My dog is still suffering with discomfort after multiple visits to this veterinary clinic, which shouldn’t be happening if this hospital did it’s job. This clinic will lead you on, claiming your pet has different issues each visit so that they can milk your pockets. Very unprofessional, and made us feel our pet wasn’t of importance to them. Definitely won’t be coming back.
